Returns & Right of Withdrawal

At Kweekverlichting.nl, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If a product does not meet your expectations, you can withdraw from your purchase within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period without giving a reason.

Below, we explain how returns work, which conditions apply and when you will receive your refund.

1. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason.

During this period, you may unpack and inspect the product as you would be allowed to do in a physical shop.

When returning a product, we ask you to:

  • Return the product complete, including all accompanying accessories and manuals.
  • Use the original packaging where reasonably possible.
  • Package the product carefully to prevent damage during transport.

Please note: If a product has been used beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, you may be charged for any resulting reduction in value. This may apply, for example, when a product has been used in an active growing environment.

3. Returning Your Product

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have a further 14 days to return the product.

Package the product carefully and keep your proof of postage until your return has been processed.

4. Return Shipping Costs

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning a product when exercising your right of withdrawal. Costs depend on the size and weight of the product and the shipping carrier you choose.

Return Costs for Grow Cabinets

Large grow cabinets are often delivered directly from our supplier on a pallet. Due to their size and weight, these products cannot always be returned using standard parcel services.

For returning a grow cabinet on a Euro pallet weighing approximately 90 kg, the following estimated transport costs apply, including VAT:

Actual return costs depend on the dimensions and weight of the grow cabinet, the collection address and the transport arrangements required. Costs may be higher for larger or non-standard dimensions.

If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order for a more specific estimate of return costs.

5. Refunds

If you withdraw from your purchase, we will refund the amount due as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notification.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or until you have provided evidence that you have returned it, whichever occurs first.

  • Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we agree otherwise.
  • If you withdraw from your entire order, we will also refund the original standard delivery costs. Any additional charges for a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.
  • For partial returns, we will refund the value of the returned products. The original shipping costs will not be refunded.

6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to products manufactured according to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, where the relevant legal exception applies.

For standard products ordered specifically for you, the statutory right of withdrawal generally continues to apply.
