Since last week, Kweekverlichting.nl finally has a good range of traditional HPS grow lights. After many questions, we have decided to offer the affordable HPS lamp separately on the website. The High Pressure Sodium lamps are still very suitable for growing plants. HPS is still the most suitable for flowering your plants. In recent weeks, we have been busy putting together a more extensive range with more possibilities in the field of HPS. Here, we mainly paid attention to the light output, the light colour and the lifespan of the lamps. The lamps below have passed our tests and are therefore added to the range!
Philips SON-T plus (green power) lamps
The Philips Son-T plus Pia lamps are available in a normal and a greenpower version. The greenpower version is slightly more effective and also lasts a bit longer. The Philips grow lights have been known for years in the growing industry for their reliability and optimum yield. Both versions are available in 400W and 600W.
Sunmaster dual spectrum lamps
The Sunmaster dual spectrum lamps are popular among many growers because these lamps are suitable for both the growth and flowering of plants. Available in 250, 400 and 600 watts.
Sylvania HPS lamps
The budget option in our range of HPS lamps is the Sylvania series. A low price but still a high light output. These lamps therefore have an excellent price/quality ratio. Available in 250, 400 and 600 watts.
Agro Ecolum reflector lamps
The reflector lamps from Agro Ecolum have been in our assortment for a while, but are now highlighted again. In addition, we often get the question why this lamp cannot be ordered separately. We cannot do this because the lamp is sent directly from the wholesaler in a package of two. Available in 400 and 600 watts.
Ballast to connect your HPS lamps.
To connect your HPS lamps you still need a ballast . Pay close attention to the wattage of the lamp, the ballast must be exactly suitable for this unless you use the dimmable ballast. The electronic ballast is better because it uses a thermal protection against heat and short circuit.
Reflector to optimally distribute the light.

To spread the light of an HPS lamp, a reflector is often used. The reflectors in our range are mainly selected for their ability to reflect the light. This is at least 95% for all reflectors. You can easily connect the HPS lamps with the supplied fitting. To better spread the heat, you can also use a heat spreader.
