Since last week, Kweekverlichting.nl has expanded its range of traditional HPS grow lights. After many inquiries, we've decided to offer the affordable HPS lamp separately on our website. High-pressure sodium lamps are still very suitable for growing plants. HPS is still the best option for finishing your plants. Over the past few weeks, we've been busy compiling a more extensive range with more HPS options. We've focused primarily on light output, light color, and lamp lifespan. The lamps below passed our tests and are therefore being added to our range!
Philips SON-T plus (green power) lamps
The Philips Son-T plus Pia lights are available in standard and green power versions. The green power versions are slightly more effective and last a bit longer. Philips grow lights have been renowned in the cultivation industry for years for their reliability and optimal efficiency. Both versions are available in 400 and 600 watts.
Sunmaster dual spectrum lamps
Sunmaster dual spectrum lamps are popular with many growers because they are suitable for both vegetative and flowering growth. Available in 250, 400, and 600 watts.
Sunkraft HPS lamps
The budget option in our HPS lamp range is the Sunkraft series. Low price yet high light output. These lamps offer excellent value for money. Available in 250, 400, and 600 watts.
Agro Ecolum reflector lamps
Agro Ecolum's reflector lamps have been in our product range for a while, but we're highlighting them again here. We also often get questions about why these lamps can't be ordered individually. We can't do that because they ship directly from the wholesaler in a pair. Available in 400 and 600 watts.

Ballast to connect your HPS lamps.
To connect your HPS lamps, you'll need a ballast . Pay close attention to the lamp's wattage; the ballast must be precisely rated, unless you're using a dimmable ballast. An electronic ballast is preferable because it features thermal protection against heat and short circuits.
Reflector to optimally distribute the light.
To diffuse the light from an HPS lamp, a reflector is often used. The reflectors in our range are primarily selected for their light reflection capacity, which is at least 95% for all reflectors. You can easily connect the HPS lamps with the included socket. To better distribute the heat, you can also use a heat spreader.
