As you may have noticed, a new law for grow shop owners (article 11 a. Opium Act) came into effect on Sunday 1 March. This measure makes sellers of aids punishable if there is a suspicion that these items are used for professional hemp cultivation.
What changes?
Although Kweekverlichting already supplies exclusively to home growers and in our opinion does not fall under the grow shop sector, we have nevertheless decided to make some adjustments as a precaution to avoid facilitating the professional grower.
- We no longer advise you on hemp cultivation. However, we are happy to advise you on the use and installation of our products.
- When purchasing, we ask you to confirm that the items are not intended for professional hemp cultivation.
- To keep out professional growers, we only sell limited quantities. We therefore no longer sell more than 5 lamps per order. In addition, an order maximum of 1500 euros has been set.
- Anonymous ordering is no longer possible. We ask you to fill in your real name and address for your order. However, packages are still sent discreetly.
To be clear: these measures are intended to tackle professional hemp cultivation. For you as a hobby grower, there is nothing wrong! Make sure that you continue to grow as a hobby and do not use the proceeds for commercial purposes!
